Presidents of Kyrgyzstan and Belarus signed a Joint Declaration

President of Kyrgyzstan Kurmanbek Bakiyev and President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed a Joint Declaration. The document covers a wide range of issues in the field of economy, culture, fight with foreign threats and military-technical cooperation.
Besides, in the course of A.Lukashenko’s visit, package of documents were signed between
Kyrgyzstan and
Belarus, including agreements on cooperation between two states at the level of ministries. Ministries of finance, cultute, foreign affairs, labor and social development, Kyrgyz National TV/Radio Brodcasting Corporation, KABAR Kyrgyz National News Agency would cooperate with profile departments of
Belarus. An agreement on brotherly relations between City Halls of Minsk and Bishkek was also signed.
K.Bakiyev expressed his satisfaction with results of A.Lukashenko’s visit to
Kyrgyzstan. In K.Bakiyev’s words, positive changes occurred in bilateral relations of
Kyrgyzstan and
Belarus. “After my visit to
Belarus in 2006, numerous decisions were adopted, which are imlementing now successfully”, - added the head of state.
In his turn, A.Lukashenko noted the high level of organizing summits of CIS and EurAsEC in Bishkek. “
Belarus and
Kyrgyzstan intend to develop close bilateral relations”, - added A.Lukashenko.
